Helena Township Advocacy Group (HTAG) is a grass roots group of Helena Township residents focused on working together with our Planning Commission and Board to increase transparency and awareness about important topics impacting our community.
HTAG’s focus is to simply gather and disseminate information to help increase awareness and encourage involvement while remaining neutral on all topics.

PC REDUCING Regular Monthly Meetings to 6/Yr.:
On 11/6/25, the Planning Commission voted to eliminate MONTHLY Meetings and only meet the 6 Times/Year:
Feb., April, June, August, October & December.
Boats & Docks Ordinance (Section 5.02.02):
On 6/19/25, the Helena Township PC held a "Public Hearing" and passed NEW Boats & Docks Ordinance language however, due to IMPROPER Notice must reschedule a REDO Public Hearing which has not yet been done. Click here for more info.
