Boats & Docks Ordinance
(Section 5.02.02)
THIS ORDINANCE NOW REQUIRE A 4TH PUBLIC HEARING!
On 1/15/26, although the PC was asked to table this matter until such time more residents were available to attend, the PC proceeded with the 3rd REDO Public Hearing and "passed" the same language previously agreed upon at its 5/8/25 and 6/19/25 Public Hearings which doubled the number of watercraft allowed.
HOWEVER, the County Planning Commission refused to review the language "passed" at the 1/15/2026 Public Hearing due to it being submitted in the wrong format.
Keep an eye out for details regarding the next Public Hearing.

On 2/5/26, the HTPC began discussions to amend this Zoning Ordinance. Be sure to submit your questions, ideas and/or concerns immediately to the Planning Commission AND Board.

Planning Commission ELIMINATES 50% of its Monthly Meetings
On 11/6/25 - HTPC voted to ELIMINATE 50% of their Regular Monthly meetings and convene only in the following months: Feb., April, June, Aug., Oct. & Dec.
Note: Seasonal residents who are out of town will be unable to attend the February, April and December meetings although meetings may be made available via Zoom.
